Willie David Mullenix

Mr. Willie David “Will” Mullenix, 66, of Elberton, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital following sudden illness.

Will was born in Elberton on February 18, 1958, joining three older siblings and completing the family. His parents, Ralph Eugene Mullenix and Margaret Edna Ray Mullenix, and sisters Chris Dove and Edna Mullenix preceded in him in death. 

Surviving are his children: Riley Mullenix of Atlanta, Sydney Mullenix of Watkinsville, and Chase Boswell of California; grandson, Amarii; and sister, Susan Mullenix of Greenville.

Will was a graduate of Elbert County High School and grew up as a member of Concord United Methodist Church. He worked most of his life in the granite industry and loved his family dearly. 

Memorial services celebrating Will's life will be conducted on Saturday, July 20, at 11:00a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 10:00-10:45a.m. prior to the service.
